Zeller+Gmelin: Automechanika in Frankfurt from 13-17 September 2016 in Hall 9.1, Booth A16 #Divinol #lubricants #Automechanika

EISLINGEN, 11 August 2016 – For the first time, Zeller+Gmelin is presenting its new partner concept at the Automechanika in Frankfurt. According to the lubricant manufacturer, Zeller+Gmelin is planning to greatly expand its technology partner network.

The 150-year old traditional company headquartered in Eislingen has been a reliable supplier for the automotive sector for decades. Zeller+Gmelin was founded in 1866 and already in its early years, the focus was on the development of the combustion engine in automobiles. In those days, mineral oil was still refined into petrol. The chemical company gave up the petrol business in later years, but evolved over time into a successful lubricant supplier for workshop and vehicle operation. Today, the product range includes two stroke oils, single grade and multi-grade oils for commercial vehicles, cars and motorcycles. Extremely ageing resistant premium oils with thin viscosity (low-viscosity) and reliable lubrication film round out the range.

"We have grown significantly in recent years and want to position ourselves more prominently on the market," emphasises Holger Fehrenz, Sales Manager DST at Zeller+Gmelin. Alone from 2009 to 2015, turnover increased from nearly 27 million to around 50 million euros with the Divinol product brand. "We are planning on strengthening our trade partner network through experienced technology partners with extensive know-how in order to launch Divinol as a brand to a broad market.

An in-house developed technology partner program is intended to support future partners in the distribution of high-quality automotive lubricants. The new partners must have their own field sales force which will be supported, for example, by regional trade shows, customer events and sales and marketing activities by Zeller+Gmelin. "Our technology partners can develop into full-range suppliers with Divinol products and also benefit from our comprehensive training courses," says Holger Fehrenz describing the significant advantages.
